Summer Baseball Returns To Regional Radio Thursday With Mineral Area Post 416 Taking On Steelville, Ill. Post 480 On KREI

(Farmington) Summer baseball returns to Regional Radio Thursday evening. Mineral Area Post 416 will play Steelville, Illinois Post 480 at Wilson Rozier Park in Farmington and we’ll carry the game on AM-800 KREI and MyMoInfo.com. Post 416 has a 4-2 record so far after defeating DeSoto SMCI Tuesday night in the back-end of a home-and-home. Team General Manager Larry Kekec tells us who has been hitting the ball well.

Steelville Post 480 has a record of 2-4 and is outside of Post 416’s district. Kekec sees this as an opportunity to play an opponent they wouldn’t normally play and to get a gauge on where his team stands halfway through their season.
