(House Springs) A student from the Rockwood School District was arrested late last week after allegedly sending a threatening Snapchat image to two students in the Northwest School District.

17-year-old Rockwood Summit High School Student Jesus Cabrera is accused of sending the message which apparently contained threatening language.

Northwest Superintendent Dr. Desi Kirchhofer explains what happened.

Dr. Kirchhofer adds with Cabrera in police custody, they thought that was the extent of the involvement.

With homecoming last week for Northwest High School, Dr. Kirchhofer says the district took extra security precaution.

Cabrera has been charged by St. Louis County prosecutors with making a terroristic threat.
