(Potosi) Thank a Farmer Week is underway in the Show-Me State. Jim Reed is the president of the board of directors of the Washington County Farm Bureau in Potosi.

He’s starting to see more interest in agriculture from young people.

He says agriculture is number one in Missouri.

And Reed says state government in Jefferson City right now backs farmers more than they ever have in a long time.
