The Very Latest on Winter Storm System

(Farmington) The National Weather Service has changed it’s forecast some for this winter weather system that will hit the area Wednesday.

Forecasters with the weather service held a conference call with media, giving us the latest predictions.

The snow, right now, is out of the forecast and freezing rain and sleet is in for our area.

However, that could change depending on the path of the system.

And you could go to work Wednesday with roads that are not slick but the return home after work could be different.

Winter precipitation is expected to begin for Crawford, Dent, Reynolds and western Iron counties between 6 and 9 Wednesday morning.

For the rest of the listening area, the winter precip is expected to begin Wednesday between 9 and noon.
