Tornado Confirmed In Perry County

(Brewer) The National Weather Service is confirming a tornado briefly touched down Saturday evening in Perry County.
An EF-0 twister with 85 mile-per-hour winds uprooted trees, lifted the tin roof off a machine shed, and destroyed a 30-by-50-foot building near Brewer.
Weather officials say straight-line winds also knocked down trees and damaged a barn roof.
Golf-ball-sized hail was reported in Carter County during the severe storms.
