Two Barnhart Residents Injured In A Two-Car Accident At Old HWY 21 At Schenk Road

Two Barnhart residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Old Highway 21 at Schenk Road Thursday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 80-year-old Ann Schnieder was driving a 2003 Buick LaSabre making a left turn onto southbound Old 21 and pulled into the path of a 2001 Toyota Avalon driven by 40-year-old Heather Montgomery. Both Schneider and Montgomery were taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South with moderate injuries. The accident took place just after 10 o’clock Thursday morning.
