Two From Silva Injured in Motorcycle Accident in Madison County

Two people from Silva are facing injuries after a motorcycle accident in Madison County on Wednesday evening. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 48-year old Thomas Martin of Silva was traveling northbound on Business 67, 1 mile north of Cherokee Pass, in the town of Millcreek, on a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle, when he ran off the right side of the road and struck the ground. Martin suffered serious injuries and was taken to Mercy South in St. Louis via Air Evac. His passenger, 44-year old Jennifer Martin suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy South via ambulance. Both individuals were wearing helmets.
