Two Injured In Jefferson County Accident

(Valle Mines) Two people were injured Thursday afternoon in a two vehicle traffic accident on Highway 67 in Jefferson County.

The highway patrol says Vicki Moore of Valle Mines was driving south on 67 when 17 year old Hunter Lebel of Desoto tried to make a left turn onto the highway from Long Road and hit the left rear of Moore’s vehicle.

Both Lebel and Moore suffered moderate injuries in the accident.

Both were taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson for treatment.
