Two New Quarries Coming to St. Francois County

(Farmington) Two new quarries are coming to each end of St. Francois County.
Presiding Commissioner Harold Gallaher says a granual plant for shingles will be located on Kings School Road.
Another quarry will be a mile south of the Jefferson County line, west of Highway 67.
Gallaher points out that’s another reason for a new bridge on Berry Road.
That bridge and the overlay of Berry Road is estimated to cost St. Francois County 4-million dollars.
