Two Teens Involved in Single Vehicle Accident in Jefferson County

(HILLSBORO) A teenager was injured in a one vehicle accident in Jefferson County Wednesday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 17-year old male from DeSoto was driving northbound on Goldman Road near Hillsboro in a 2014 Buick Regal when he lost control of the car, it crossed the centerline, ran off the road, struck an embankment and overturned. This caused the teens’ passenger, a 16-year old male from Hillsboro to be thrown from the car. He received moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis. The driver was not injured.
