Valle Catholic Football Takes on Lamar for Class 2 Championship Saturday

(Columbia) The Valle Catholic Warriors football team is no stranger to success in the postseason. They’re 15-4 in state championships, with six titles since 2010. The Warriors face Lamar in this year’s Class 2 Show Me Bowl, and the Tigers are one of the few teams to have had Valle Catholic’s number in recent memory. Warriors coach Judd Naegar explains what makes Lamar so good.

Lamar is coached by Jared Beshore. He’s led his team to the championship game in each of the last two years, but could not come away with a win. He lists the standout parts of Valle Catholic’s game.
