Valle Catholic Lineman Kyle Roth Makes Dream Team for Second Consecutive Season

(Ste. Genevieve, Mo.) For the second consecutive season, offensive and defensive lineman Kyle Roth of the Valle Catholic Warriors football team played his way onto the Regional Radio Dream Team.

He says while it was special making the Dream Team last year, it means even more to him following a senior season that saw the Warriors take home the Class 1 State Championship.

While Roth makes an impact on both sides of the ball, his defensive prowess was recognized on a state-wide scale as he took home Class 1 Defensive Player of the Year.

However, he says his teammates on the defensive line were equally effective.

After taking home the Class 1 State Championship for football, Roth says it was the attention to detail that paved the way for them to accomplish that goal.

Following his terrific senior season Roth was named I-55 1st Team All-Conference for both offense and defense, I-55 Conference Defensive MVP, 1st Team All-State Defensive End, and Class 1 Defensive Player of the Year.
