Valle Catholic Offense Overwhelms Jefferson in Runaway Victory on J98

(Festus) The Valle Catholic Warriors rode a fast start to a big win on the road over the Jefferson Blue Jays by a final score of 47-13 Friday on J98.

Valle received the opening kickoff and marched down the field in four plays before sophomore quarterback Chase Fallert connected with Jayden Gegg for the first score.

Jefferson gave the Warriors the ball right back as they fumbled on their first possession.

Cory Stoll then got the handoff and lost the defense on his way into the endzone.

Another Jefferson fumble set up Valle at the two-yard line and Jayden Gegg punched it in to extend the lead to 20-0.

After a Blue Jays punt, Valle kept on scoring as they hit the early dagger to Aiden Heberlie.

Valle went into the break leading 34-6 and did not look back in the second half.

Fallert continued his breakout campaign and put a bow on the game late by throwing for his 19th and 20th touchdown passes of the season.

Fallert was named the Applebee’s of Farmington Player of the Game as he went 12-for-25 for 211 yards and four touchdowns through the air and added four carries for 32 yards on the ground.

There were plenty of other strong performances for Valle – Stoll had nine carries for 69 yards and two touchdowns – Gegg had five catches for 79 yards and two touchdowns and added one carry for two yards and a touchdown – Heberlie had three catches for 80 yards and a touchdown – and Austin Burnett had three catches for 50 yards and a touchdown.

Even with another big win under their belt, Valle head coach Judd Naeger is nowhere near satisfied with where his team is at this point in the season.

Valle Catholic will remain the #1 team in Class 3 as they stay undefeated and improve to 6-0 on the year. The Warriors will back at home next Friday when they host the New Madrid Central Eagles.

The Jefferson Blue Jays fall to 2-2 on the season and they will be on the road next week when they head to Grandview to take on the Eagles.
