Valle Catholic’s Josh Bieser Back On Wrestling Dream Team After State Runner-Up Finish

(Ste. Genevieve) A second consecutive state runner-up finish on the mat gave Valle Catholic senior Josh Bieser another nod to the Regional Radio Boys Wrestling Dream Team. Bieser was on last year’s Dream Team after wrestling at 145 pounds but he wanted to move up a weight class after training in the summer.

Bieser followed up a phenomenal junior year by going 47-3 and finishing 2nd at State in Class 1 at 152 pounds. Bieser worked hard to fend off losses but he worked even harder to avoid it happening again.

Part of Bieser’s off-the-mat preparation came from watching tape with his coach, Jake Gegg.

Bieser wanted to thank some people close to him for helping him become one of the best wrestlers in the area.

Bieser was also named to the Baseball Dream Team after his junior season.
