Abree Zipprich threw all nine innings for Valle. She struck out 14, walked no one, and mowed down the heart of the Concordia order in the bottom of the 9th.

Valle finishes the year at 20-3 and the spring season Class 1 State Champions. It’s the 28th state championship for the school across all sports.
Concordia lost for only the second time in 30 games.
