Valles Mines Teenager Receives Serious Injuries in Jefferson County Crash

(Valle Lake) A teenager from Valles Mines was seriously injured in a one car crash Friday morning in Jefferson County.
The Highway Patrol says the crash took place on ‘V’ Highway, just north of Tiny Creek Road when 19-year-old Kayelyn DeClue lost control of her Honda Accord, causing the car to run off the road and strike a tree.
DeClue was seriously injured and had to be taken to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis.
