Viburnum Man Facing Child Porn Felony Has Trial Set for April
(Ironton) It looks like a Viburnum man, facing felony child pornography charges out of Iron County, could take his criminal case to jury trial.
According to the arrest report from last July from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 27-year-old Kristopher L. Cain was charged with one count of first degree promoting child porn and four counts of possession of child porn.
Investigators served a search warrant at Cain’s home in Viburnum on Crescent Drive.
During a search of Cain’s phone, investigators say they discovered videos of child porn.
Cain apparently admitted to police that he downloaded child porn over the last year on his phone.
Cain’s last chance to cut a plea deal with the prosecuting attorney’s office is February 23rd and if he sticks with his not guilty plea, Cain will have a one day trial at the courthouse in Ironton on April 8th.
