Waller wins Missouri State Rep. 114th District while Buchheit-Courtway is re-elected in the 115th

(Jefferson County) Current Jefferson County Elections Clerk Ken Waller was chosen by voters in Tuesday’s General Election to represent the 114th District in the State House of Representatives.

Waller, a Republican, beat Democratic Jessie Shepherd 8,540 votes to 4,132.

Waller praises a former state rep who was very influential into his candidacy.

Waller received more than 67 percent of the vote. He will begin his term as state representative at the start of next year.

In addition, Republican incumbent Cyndi Buchheit-Courtway won her re-election bid for state representative in the 115th district, downing Democrat challenger Barbara Marco by 72 percent of the vote.

Buchheit-Courtway says she’s excited to continue helping the county in Jefferson City and she already has a few bills planned for the next legislative session.

This will be Buchheit-Courtway’s second term as a state rep in the 115th district which covers portions of southern Jefferson County.
