Wayne County Bridge Contract Awarded

(Wayne County) The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has awarded a contract for a bridge deck replacement on Route 34 over the St. Francis River in Wayne County.

The bridge is part of Governor Parson’s Focus on Bridges program.

The goal is to repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.

The governor has committed $351 million to the program.

There’s no word yet as to when work will start on the Route 34 replacement.
