Wenceslaus William “Bill” Stepan – Service 7/20/20 3:30 p.m.

Wenceslaus William “Bill” Stepan of DeSoto died Tuesday at the age of 81. Bill was a US Army veteran and worked as a machinist for Preco-Metal. He was also a member of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church in DeSoto and enjoyed fishing and the racetrack.

He is survived by his 6 sons: Tim Stepan of Texas, Chuck Stepan of New Mexico, Glen Stepan of Pacific, MO, Mike Lambkin of St. Louis, Steve Lambkin of O’Fallon, and Jason Stepan of Arnold; 4 daughters: Donna Thele of St. Charles, Karen Schmitt of Wright City, Virginia Stepan of Arnold, and Linda Lambkin of Madison County, Illinois; one brother, Theo “TJ” Stepan of Iowa; and one sister, Lillian Stepan of Iowa.

The funeral service for Bill Stepan will be Monday afternoon at 3:30 at the Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday afternoon from 2 until the time of service at the funeral home.
