(IMPERIAL) We have co-athletes of the week for our latest Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy Play It Forward Athlete of the Week award and they are both from Windsor volleyball.

Senior setter Taylor Duncan and senior libero Ally Moore helped lead the Owls to their first-ever trip to the state Final Four last week. In the team’s district championship run as well as in Sectionals and Quarterfinals, Taylor recorded 61 serving points, 17 aces, 97 assists, 33 digs, and 11 kills. Ally totaled 32 service points, 10 aces, 57 serve receives and 64 digs.

Here is Head Coach Stephany Dueker-Richmond’s comment on Taylor’s performance after Windsor’s Final Four-clinching victory over Perryville on Saturday.

And her comment on Ally Moore.

Coach Dueker-Richmond adds that both Taylor and Ally have been invaluable to the team’s success this season not just in stats but also in leadership, attitude, and effort. For being co-athletes of the week, Taylor Duncan and Ally Moore will receive a t-shirt, a certificate, and the Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy will make two separate $25 donations in their names to a local charity of their choice.

The Owls record is 24-10-4 as they compete this Friday in pool play of the Class 3 semifinals at the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau. The other three semifinalists are St. Michael the Archangel, St. Francis Borgia, and Logan-Rogersville.
