Wolf Creek Fire Officials Pleased With Election Victory

(Farmington) Officials with the Wolf Creek Fire Department are pleased following the passage of a tax initiative this month to allow them to upgrade to a fire district status. Bart Mabry is the chief of the department. He says now that voters have said yes, there’s a lot of work still to do.

Mabry says the tax will raise around 325 thousand dollars annually, which will be put to good use.

Tentatively, those satellite stations will be located near Libertyville and Coffman. The issue passed this month, receiving around 60 percent of the vote. Hear more about Wolf Creek below.
