Work Proceeds on Jefferson College Vet Tech Building

(HILLSBORO)    Construction work on the new Veterinary Tech building at Jefferson College’s Hillsboro campus is underway.  The college held a groundbreaking ceremony for the project last month.  According to John Linhorst, Jefferson College Vice President of Finance and Administration, the new facility will allow for the expansion of the program.

Linhorst says the general contractor for the project is Brockmiller Construction of Farmington.

Construction work also continues on the Hillsboro campus for a new residence hall at Viking Woods, the student housing facility.  According to Linhorst, the building will allow for 19 new residence suites and also a new office for the campus police department.
