100% Drought in Regional Radio Listening Area

(Farmington) Drought conditions have once again engulfed the entire Regional Radio listening area.

That’s according to the latest drought monitor map of Missouri released Thursday by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The worst of it is in northwest Crawford County where that area is experiencing extreme drought conditions.

Severe drought conditions are in all of Washington, St. Francois, Ste. Genevieve, Iron and Dent counties.

There’s also severe drought throughout most of Crawford, Jefferson and Reynolds counties.

It’s also being seen in northern Madison, northern and western Perry and the northwestern tip of Bollinger County.

The rest of the listening area is experiencing moderate drought conditions.
