1st Annual Nell Kennedy Memorial Golf Tournament in Viburnum

(Viburnum) If you spent much time at the Viburnum Golf and Country Club, you knew Nell Kennedy.

Kennedy passed away a few months ago but one of her passions was that golf course and country club located just outside of Viburnum.

Nell worked inside the pro shop most days and if she wasn’t doing that, she was probably on the course, refining her game.

She was a great golfer and had at least two hole in ones on the Viburnum course.

In her honor, the 1st Annual Nell Kennedy Memorial Golf Tournament has been scheduled for Saturday, May 18th.

Josh Long is the manager of the Viburnum Golf and Country Club.

He expects this to be a great golf tournament.

We asked Long what the golf course in Viburnum is looking like this spring.
