27 Year Old Man Injured In Single Car Accident

(Jefferson Co.) One person is injured after a single car accident Monday afternoon in Jefferson County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened on Fountain City Road east of Wagon Wheel Lane when a Honda Shadow driven by 27-year-old Joshiah Tegg of DeSoto swerved to avoid a downed phone line in the roadway. The vehicle overturned and skidded on its left side and travelled off the right side of the roadway, and the its undercarriage impacted the ground. The vehicle then overturned to its right side and ejected Tegg. He received moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital South by ambulance for treatment.
