(HILLSBORO) Coverage of the Gene Steighorst Invitational continues tonight on AM 1400 KJFF with more quarterfinal play. The 2nd-seeded Central Rebels and the 7th-seeded Seckman Jaguars will get the action started.

Rebels head coach Allen Davis likes his group’s willingness to share the scoring load so far.

The Rebels will carry a 1-0 record into the contest while this will be Seckman’s first game. Tip-off is set for 5:30.

The 2nd and final game of the night and of the quarterfinals features the 3rd-seeded Eureka Wildcats and the 6th-seeded DeSoto Dragons. The Dragons are 1-4 so far this season and have lost each of their last 2 games by only 2 points.

Dragons Head Coach Zeb Hammond says that free throws have been an issue early on but that he is doing everything he can to strengthen their mental approach to taking them.

Much like Seckman, tonight will also be the first game of the season for Eureka. Tip-off for the Wildcats and DeSoto is scheduled for 7. Pregame coverage of both games begins at 5:15.
