9th Mineral Area Bluegrass is this Weekend in Leadwood
The 9th Mineral Area Bluegrass Festival takes place this Saturday in Leadwood. John Hartley is one of the organizers. We asked him to tell us about this year’s featured festival performer.

Hartley tells us about the other wonderful musicians and singers you can see at the festival, plus a bonus event the next morning.

The Country Fire Cloggers will also perform and there’s going to be a special tribute to veterans, including a ceremony for a local Purple Heart recipient. West County 1st graders will be singing the National Anthem. Gates at Leadwood City Park for the bluegrass festival will open at 10 o’clock Saturday morning with the music starting at 11. Admission to the festival is only 5-dollars for adults and those 12 and under get in for free.
