Abnormally Dry Conditions in Regional Radio Listening Area

(Farmington) It might be a long summer for Missouri farmers and ranchers.

The latest U.S. Drought Monitor map for Missouri shows moderate to extreme drought conditions through the heart of the state.

Most of the Regional Radio listening area is showing abnormally dry conditions but not up to drought standards just yet.

The only parts of the state not considered to have drought problems are in the bootheel region northward to the northern half of Wayne County, most of Bollinger County and most of Perry County are experiencing normal conditions at the moment.

Northwest Missouri is also experiencing normal conditions.
