American Heart Association Recognizes J-98

(Farmington) Officials with the American Heart Association were at our radio station today to present us with a plaque of appreciation for our support of the Walk to Tackle Heart Disease. This fundraiser features a friendly competition between Farmington and North County High Schools. Jen Rogers with the Heart Association says this Walk has made a huge difference in their efforts.

Farmington raised nearly 11 thousand dollars this year while North County raised close to 10 thousand dollars. Rogers says it was a real team effort.

The Walk to Tackle Heart Disease takes place every fall, kicking off at the Farmington-North County football game.
