Arcadia Valley Girls Basketball Looks For Five Straight Tuesday At North County On Regional Radio

(BONNE TERRE, Mo.) – An MAAA Small-School Division girls basketball team travels to one of the Large-School Division variety Tuesday as Arcadia Valley heads to North County on the MyMoInfo SportStream.

The Tigers are 8-5 and riding a 4-game winning streak over the last couple of weeks.

Their average margin of victory over that span is just under 27 points per game.

When looking at the matchup with the Raiders, AV coach Kristen Williams is focused on star post player senior Kayleigh Winch but says North County has great guards too.

On the side of North County, the Raiders were able to rebound from a tough loss at Central on Thursday and earn a home win against Herculaneum Monday to push their record to 10-2.

It was North County getting the better of AV in their only meeting last season, 50-35 in the MAAA Tournament.

AV has perhaps the best player in the area in junior Gracee Smith, and with senior Katie Whited joining her in the back court, the two form a dangerous pair according to Raiders head coach Zac McVey.

Tune into the girls basketball matchup between Arcadia Valley and North County Tuesday night on the MyMoInfo SportStream.

Pregame begins at 7:15.
