Arcadia Valley, Ste. Genevieve to Clash in Early Season Matchup

The Arcadia Valley Tigers baseball team heads to Ste. Genevieve today for a big early-season duel with the Dragons. The Tigers won their first two games, but have lost the last three, and enter today’s contest with a record of 2-3. Manager John Inman wants his team to keep focusing on the things they can control.

The Dragons’ season has been streaky as well. They lost their first three games before hitting a three game win streak. This is the Dragons’ second home game in as many days, as they hosted the St. Louis Patriots yesterday. Manager Michael McDaniel says his team is young, but they show the effort needed to win.

The Dragons host Arcadia Valley at Yanks Field this afternoon. They’ve won 12 of the last 13 games, with Arcadia Valley’s last series win coming last season. You can listen to the game at 4:30 on AM-800 KREI.
