Arcadia Woman Injured after Crashing Vehicle on Ice Covered Iron County Bridge

(Graniteville) A woman from Arcadia was injured this morning in a one vehicle accident in Iron County.

The Highway Patrol says the accident took place on ‘N’ Highway about a mile and a half south of Highway 21 near Graniteville when a Chevy Suburban driven by 35-year-old Catherine Guittar lost control of her vehicle on an ice covered bridge, the suburban struck a guard rail, ran off the road and struck an embankment.

Guittar received moderate injuries and was taken to Iron County Medical Center in Pilot Knob.
