Backstoppers of Jefferson County dinner and auction plus 9/11

(Festus, Crystal City) The Backstoppers of Jefferson County will hold their bi-annual dinner and auction fundraiser Saturday night at the Festus-Crystal City Elks Lodge #1721. Lieutenant Colonel Tim Whitney with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office serves on the Backstoppers Board. He says the Backstoppers is a great organization that has been helping out our 1st responders for a long time.

Also, tomorrow (Saturday) is the 21st anniversary of 9-11. Lieutenant Colonel Whitney says it’s also very important to honor those 1st responders as well.

The Backstoppers Dinner and Auction will take place Saturday night at the Festus-Crystal City Elks Lodge #1721.
