Black River Electric Quickly Restoring Power for Customers

(Fredericktown) Sunday’s tornadoes led to many families in the Regional Radio listening area to go without power for a signicant amount of time, but Black River Electric Cooperative has been working diligently to turn the lights back on for their customers. Communications Specialist with the Co-Op Heather Dietiker says that they have quickly restored most of their customers’ power.

Their main headquarters in Fredericktown was also damaged in the storm, but Dietiker says that everything is okay at that location.

Dietiker also reminds those traveling in affected areas to watch out for power lines.

If you are a Black River Electric Cooperative customer without power, you can call 573-783-3381 for assistance.
