Braden Botkin – Farmington Dream Team Football Player

(Farmington) Braden Botkin ran for over 1600 yards this year as the primary ball carrier for Farmington’s triple option attack. Botkin also led the Knights in tackles as he became a two way player his senior year. We asked the new Dream Team member if he surpassed his own expectations…

Botkin says it was a thrill to earn the votes of the area coaches and land on the Dream Team…

Botkin wanted to thank an offensive line that opened all those holes for him…

And while the line controlled the line of scrimmage more often then not, Botkin also gained yards after contact as well as anyone in the listening area…

Botkin averaged 133 yards per game and topped the 200 yard mark four times this season.
Farmington finished the year at 9-3 with two of their losses coming to the class five state champion Jackson Indians. Botkin was proud of the entire team…

Braden is currently active in the recruiting process and hopes to play college football next year.
