Businesses In Ste. Gen County Looking For Medical Marijuana Licenses

Two potential businesses have applied through the State of Missouri to produce infused medical marijuana products in Ste. Genevieve County.

Presiding Commissioner Garry Nelson says it will be a long-shot for one of these applicants to be awarded a license in his county.

Nelson says when Missouri set up it’s rules and regulations for medical marijuana, it squeezed out the “little guy” from the start.

Several have also applied to cultivate, operate a dispensary or produce infused marijuana products in Blackwell, Bourbon, Bunker, Cadet, Cuba, Desloge, Ellington, Farmington, Glenallen, Ironton, Park Hills, Piedmont, Salem, Silva and several have applied throughout Jefferson County.
