Car Clotters Target Several Festus area Neighborhoods

(Festus) Car clotters are back at it again in Jefferson County. During the weekend of July 31st and August 1st several vehicles were broken into in the City of Festus.

We asked Festus Police Chief Tim Lewis who is responsible.

Earlier this year the City of Festus started a program called #9pm Routine in an effort to remind residents to make sure their vehicles and other personal property is locked up to avoid being an easy target for thieves.
