Cedar Hill felon arrested after law enforcement raid

(Dittmer, Hillsboro) A Cedar Hill man, well known to law enforcement agencies, was taken into custody early Monday morning. Several different agencies were working together as they planned a raid of a home in the 7900 block of Riverview Drive in Dittmer. Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Grant Bissell says the county narcotics division had been running surveillance of the home for a few days, and made their move to locate and arrest 49-year-old Michael Richardson. Bissell says several agencies helped in the effort.

Bissell says other people in the home were also taken into custody.

The total number of charges against Richardson is still pending. The names of the other individuals located within the home as well as the charges they face, have not been released. Stay tuned for more information on this incident coming within the next few days.
