Central Rebels join Cole’s Tractor and Equipment Football Roundtable

(Farmington) Tuesday night was the first edition of the Cole’s Tractor and Equipment High School Football Roundtable. Central Rebels head coach Kory Schweiss, along with quarterback Casen Murphy, lineman Sam Callaway, running back Jobe Bryant, and defensive back Kannon Harlow stopped by the J98 studios to discuss last week’s win over Poplar Bluff.

Murphy missed most of the summer with a shoulder injury. He says his first action of the year went well.

Callaway found a new technique and appreciation for pancake blocks.

Harlow shared about the changes in the secondary with the addition of Braydon Berry, a transfer from Farmington.

Bryant mentioned the parallels between football and basketball, which are two sports he excels at.

The Rebels will host Caruthersville on Friday night.

Next week’s Roundtable guests will be the Farmington Knights.
