Children’s Advocacy Center to Host Virtual Art Contest

(Jefferson County) The Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) is calling all artists to submit their original artwork for a Virtual Art Contest fundraiser scheduled online May 3rd-10th.

Autumn Colvis with the CAC says this is the 2nd annual Art Contest and it’s open to the public.

Artwork will be voted on during the week of the fundraiser at the cost of $1 per vote.

The traditional, digital, and 3-dimensional categories will each have a beginner, intermediate, and advanced winner.

Winners will receive a medal and prize. One winner will be selected from a Best in Show category to receive a $100 cash prize.

In addition to the art contest, a silent auction will be held.

It will feature baskets from a variety of categories, gift card packages, and original artwork from artists who select to donate their submissions.

All proceeds go back to support the CAC’s free services to children and families who have experienced child abuse and neglect.
