City of Desloge Approves Hazard Pay for Firefighters

(Desloge) Hazard pay for Desloge firefighters was a topic of discussion at Monday night’s Desloge City Council meeting. City Administrator Dan Bryan says the council approved it.
About 8-thousand dollars in all will be paid to the firefighters. Also at the meeting, longevity pay for city employees was discussed and it looks like there will eventually be an increase.
In other news from the Desloge City Council meeting, the Covid-19 vaccine was discussed along with coronavirus Cares Act Funding the city has been awarded.
