City of Desloge Has Started Work On New Comprehensive Plan

(Desloge) The City of Desloge has started preparing a new comprehensive plan for the town.

Mayor David Shaw says it has been a while since the City has put one of these documents together.

Mayor Shaw has put some community members on a special comprehensive plan board.

Two town hall meetings are scheduled to discuss this new comprehensive plan for Desloge.

There’s one Tuesday night, October 18th and another Thursday night, December 1st.

Both will start at 7 o’clock at Desloge City Hall.

Due to the complexity in preparing the plan, Mayor Shaw says it will take about two years to complete.

The target date to unveil the new Desloge City comprehensive plan is sometime in the spring of 2024.
