City of Leadington to Vote on Tax Bill Next Tuesday

The city of Leadington is adding a vote on an additional tax at their upcoming election. The bill if voted positively on, would add a tax for the sake of a new fire truck in the department. Leadington City Alderman Andrew Young says the new fire truck would benefit citizens around the area.

The funds if accrued, would go into effect immediately. Young says there’s other plans for where any excess tax money would go.

The vote will take place April 2nd.
