City Of Steelville Could Start Charging Citizens A Credit Card Fee

(Steelville) The City of Steelville is looking into charging citizens a fee for credit card usage. Mayor Terry Beckham says the city is forking up lots of money each month on credit card fees.

Mayor Beckham says he doesn’t know exactly what the changes would look like just yet.

The Mayor says the biggest expense in regard to credit card usage are utilities.

Mayor Beckham says the city is hoping to make this change by October 1st.
