Despite being slotted as the 3 seed in this district, the Lancers are 16-2 on the season and are ranked 4th in the state of Missouri.

Meanwhile, Kingston features a record of 6-10 but has won two consecutive games and Cougars head coach Kyle Nettles hopes the recently improving play will serve them well against a tough foe.

For the hosting West County, they’re receiving votes in state while wielding a 17-6 record and victories in 4 of their last 5 games.

Bulldogs head coach John Simily says it all starts with pitching.

And to cap off the day, the fourth-seeded Arcadia Valley Tigers will do battle with the fifth-seeded Herculaneum Blackcats, with the winner playing first-seeded Jefferson in the semifinals.

For Herculaneum, an interesting season has seen them go 10-9-1 while not winning or losing more than two games consecutively all year long.

Blackcats head coach Zac Bone shares his thoughts on that interesting statistic.
