Company Given Approval to Purchase Terre Du Lac Utilities Corporation

(Terre Du Lac) The Missouri Public Service Commission has approved Confluence Rivers Utility Operating Company to purchase substantially all of the water and sewer assets of the Terre Du Lac Utilities Corporation in Terre Du Lac.

The commission has also granted Confluence Rivers certificates of convenience and necessity authorizing it to own, operate, manage and maintain the water and sewer systems of Terre Du Lac.

The commission also says the acquisition is not detrimental to the public interest.

Under the agreement, Confluence Rivers will provide water and sewer service under Terre Du Lac’s existing water and sewer rates.

Terre Du Lac Utilities Corporation serves about 1,302 customers in St. Francois and Washington counties.
