Congressman Luetkemeyer hoping helps comes to Missouri farmers

As the drought continues in Missouri, legislators at all levels are trying to do what they can for farmers. Missouri 3rd District Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer says Missouri has been hit hard like many other states in the Midwest.

Luetkemeyer says Congress is working on legislation that could provide some relief.

Nearly all of Missouri is at least abnormally dry, while much of the state is in severe drought or extreme drought. Jefferson County is split up, with the northern half considered to be in moderate drought, while most of the county is in severe drought.
