Construction of Performing Arts Center at Festus High School nearing completion

(Festus) Construction of a new Performing Arts Center at Festus High School is nearing completion.
With the official building update, here’s Festus schools Superintendent Dr. Link Luttrell.
When the auditorium is not being used for school activities, it will be open to the public to rent out.
Dr. Luttrell says even with the set back in getting certain construction items, they are still hopeful in having the Performing Arts Center ready and students performing on stage by early 2022.
Funding for the Performing Arts Center was made possible with the passage of Proposition F in April 2019.
The district investment into the construction of the facility is $14 million.
