Crystal City Covid-19 outbreak

(Crystal City) As Jefferson County reached a level of “red” alert status on Tuesday, which indicates widespread uncontrolled community transmission, the city of Crystal City is dealing with an outbreak with some of their employees. City Administrator Jason Eisenbeis says they seem to have things under control now.

Eisenbeis is hopeful businesses will stay open and a shut down is avoided.

The positive Covid-19 cases within Crystal City employees resulted in the municipal court canceling their docket scheduled for Wednesday night and canceled the court “amnesty day” this Saturday. The Crystal City municipal court is scheduled to resume again on October 14th.
